ABOUT THE AUCTION
Mr. Fox was a lifelong woodsman and a proud Gamekeeper - a true old school turkey man - and the Mr. Fox Turkey Vest was created as a symbol of the things he cared about most. Faith and family, a lifelong commitment to hunting and conservation, and a core belief in leaving things better than you found them. These calls were hand crafted as symbols of the same purpose and to raise money for wild turkey conservation. We lost both Billy Buice and Mr. Fox in recent weeks, and it's an honor to carry on their legacies through their friends in the turkey world.

In 2023 we set out to build a turkey vest to honor Mr. Fox. "The Mr. Fox Vest" represented the core beliefs of Mr. Fox, a commitment to family, land and wildlife conservation, turkey hunting heritage, and leaving things better than you found them.
When the Dixon Vest was released, a small handful of friends made calls in his honor for the first 50-100 vests. When we started working on the Fox Vest in 2022, we immediately called a few of our call maker friends. We're honored that some of the most talented and legendary custom call makers in the country made calls in honor of Mr. Fox. Each call represents not only the legacy of Mr. Fox, but also the craftsmanship, tradition, and stories of the legendary call makers who built them.
We initially planned to auction these calls the spring of the Fox Vest release, but time and turkey season got away from us. We wanted to wait for another milestone, and spring of our 40th Anniversary was the right occasion.
Sadly, in recent weeks, the turkey hunting world lost both Mr. Fox and the legendary Billy Buice. The time spent in Mr. Billy's shop is even more special to us now, and it's an honor to have his craftsmanship, story and legacy part of this collection.
Mr. Fox was incredibly proud of the money raised for wild turkeys during the initial launch of the Fox Vest, and he asked us about it every time we saw him all year afterward.
For nearly a decade, Mr. Fox had been hanging on for “just one more” turkey season. Last spring, he was blessed with a miraculous hunt and his final turkey. We'll miss him forever.
Auction FAQs
The starting bid will be $1500. The minimum bid increment of $50 means that a new bid placed must be at least $50 over the current bid. You cannot place more than one bid in a row. Popcorn bidding rules will be enabled in the last 1 minute of the auction. The highest bid wins. The winner will be contacted directly by Mossy Oak to claim the Mr. Fox Vest and Call Collection, process payment, and confirm shipping details.
If a bid is received within the last 1 minute of the Auction, then the Auction will remain open for an additional 5 minutes. If any further bidding occurs within the last 1 minute, the extension timer will extend by 5 minutes to add a maximum of 25 minutes. See terms and conditions for more. information.

The auctions will start on Monday February 9, 2026 and end 30 minutes apart on Sunday February 15, 2026 starting at 6 pm CST (this timing is subject to revision by Mossy Oak). Because of staggered endings and popcorn bidding rules, the auctions collectively may extend beyond 8 pm CST on February 15, 2026.

Bidders warrant that they:
- Are over 18 years of age;
- Are not an employee of Mossy Oak, Haas Outdoors or Brand Affiliates
- Have a delivery address where they can take delivery of the Mr. Fox Vest + Call Collection in the contiguous United States; and
- Are in no way disqualified to participate in the Auction by law, rules, regulations, or policies.
The winner will be contacted directly by Mossy Oak to claim the Mr. Fox Vest + Call Collection, process payment, and confirm shipping details. Payment must be received within 48 hours or your bid will be disqualified.
