WHEN YOU'RE READY TO BECOME PART OF THE WOODS YOU HUNT.

From 1986 through the first decades of Mossy Oak, some of our favorite gear through every season carried the name Woodsman.

As Mossy Oak became the uniform for those with their back against a tree getting close to game - old school turkey hunters, whitetail bowhunters and flooded timber duck hunters - Mossy Oak and the pursuit of woodsmanship went hand in hand.

As we hit the woods this deer season, we’ve dipped back into the archive and re-introduced a small collection of a few new and a few old deer hunting essentials - with more on the way.

“When I get out of my truck and step into the woods, I’m basically a vapor ‘til I come back out and get in my truck.  No scent, no sound, especially no sight.”

- Toxey Haas

The way of the woodsman can seem harder to find these days, but our community of folks who feel most at home in the woods is growing stronger every season. The more that modern technology finds its way into the world of hunting, the more important it is to never lose the spirit of the hunters who came before us and the skills we pass on to our kids and grandkids.
