Re-waxing:
- Re-waxing may be necessary to keep the waxed fabric’s natural water resistance properties and maintain overall appearance over time.
- To restore the wax finish, apply a fabric grade wax following the directions below:
- Clean and fully dry the vest before re-waxing.
- Using a clean cloth, spot-apply wax evenly, focusing only on high-wear areas.
- Gently warm the area with a hair dryer or similar low heat to help the wax absorb fully.
- Allow the vest to cure for 24 hours in a warm, well ventilated space before wearing/storing.
