Some things from our history get better with age - Dad’s old turkey vest, the Deluxe Woods Coat, a pair of broken-in coveralls. 40 year old cotton gloves… not so much. They age like a pair of socks. If you manage to keep from losing them, the days of dewy morning dirt add up, and you eventually need a replacement pair. There are plenty of great moisture wicking, synthetic gloves in Mossy Oak patterns, but there’s something about an old cotton glove gripping a shotgun with the index finger missing that feels right. Keep one pair in your vest and another in the glove box.
